King Henry VIII was a giant of a man. Not only was a large in stature, he was also an intellectual giant as well.

It not only took a lot of guts to go up against the Church in Rome, but he was also known for many other things – his discarding of wives only being one aspect of his history and personality. Indeed, King Henry VIII was a man who changed history in many ways, but also in refined ways. Did you know that he loved composing music and singing it as well? In fact, it is said that he even composed the song “Greensleeves” which many sing at Christmas time.

He also was a fine dancer and loved to debate with discourse. He loved to hunt and had enormous lavish hunting parties and even more lavish feasts for his guests. And of course he loved to wrestle and gamble. He was a paragon of entertainment, and that meant playing cards and dice as well.
